Terms and Conditions for the National Incubator Network Platform

1. Introduction

1.1 Welcome to the National Incubator Network Platform (“Platform”), a community-driven digital ecosystem for UAE startups, incubators, accelerators, corporates, and government entities.

1.2 By registering and using the Platform, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility and Membership

2.1 Membership is open to individuals and organizations affiliated with startups, incubators, accelerators, corporates, and government entities in the UAE.

2.2 The Platform reserves the right to approve or deny membership requests at its discretion.

3. Acceptable Use

3.1 Members shall use the Platform solely for its intended purpose of networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration within the UAE innovation ecosystem.

3.2 Members shall not post, share, or distribute:

• Inaccurate, misleading, or false information;
• Offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory content;
• Spam, promotional materials, or unauthorized commercial content;
• Any content that violates UAE laws and regulations.

3.3 Members shall not engage in:

• Harassment, abuse, or threats against other users;
• Hacking, phishing, or any attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform;
• Any behavior that disrupts or harms the community.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

4.1 The Platform complies with UAE data protection laws, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

4.2 Members consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their data for Platform operations.

4.3 The Platform will take reasonable security measures to protect personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cybersecurity and Liability

5.1 The Platform implements security measures to protect against cyber threats but does not guarantee immunity from cyberattacks.

5.2 The Platform shall not be liable for damages resulting from:

• Unauthorized access to member data due to external cyberattacks;
• Downtime, interruptions, or technical issues;
• Losses incurred due to reliance on information shared within the community.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Members retain ownership of any content they upload but grant the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, share, and display such content within the community.

6.2 Members shall not share proprietary content of others without authorization.

7. Compliance with UAE Laws

7.1 Members agree to comply with all applicable UAE laws, including but not limited to:

• UAE Cybercrime Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021);
• UAE Data Protection Law;
• Intellectual Property and Copyright Laws.

7.2 Any breach of UAE laws may result in immediate termination of membership and potential legal action.

8. Termination and Enforcement

8.1 The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership for violations of these Terms and Conditions.

8.2 Members may appeal suspensions or terminations through a formal review process.

8.3 The Platform may take legal action against members engaging in illegal activities or malicious behavior.

9. Amendments

9.1 The Platform reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

9.2 Members will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the UAE.

10.2 Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be resolved through arbitration in the UAE.

By registering on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
